An independent Oklahoma oil and gas company

Built on Experience. Driven by Opportunity.

An independent Oklahoma oil and gas company with roots dating back to L&T Oil and Gas in 1976. We explore, acquire, develop, and operate oil and gas assets across the Mid-Continent and Permian Basin, with experience in new drilling, recompletions, and redevelopment of established fields.

Growth priorities

Our Growth Strategy.

  1. Producing-Asset Acquisitions

Acquiring producing properties with existing cash flow and additional development potential.

  2. Infill & Redevelopment

Identifying new drilling locations, recompletions, and redevelopment opportunities in established fields.

  3. Horizontal Development

Identifying horizontal opportunities in established producing reservoirs through technical and economic evaluation, where historical production and reservoir analysis support potential new drilling targets.

  4. Strategic Working Interests

Expanding our portfolio through operated projects and non-operated participation alongside established operators.

Our Approach

From the Reservoir to the Field.

We integrate geology, reservoir engineering, production analysis, and project economics to evaluate opportunities, guide development decisions, and allocate capital where we see the greatest potential for value. Our field team then carries selected projects through field execution: drilling, completion, and production.

Where we operate

Mid-Continent & Permian.

Hulen Operating Company operates wells in Lincoln, Oklahoma and Noble counties, within easy reach of our Oklahoma City office. In West Texas, Hulen also has wells in Irion and Schleicher counties.
